In April 2024, Legacy Professionals discovered a cybersecurity breach that potentially exposed sensitive personal information of current and former clients and employees. Notification letters were sent to affected individuals on February 27, 2025.
Legacy Professionals hasn’t disclosed how many individuals were affected by its recent data breach. The compromised data includes individuals’ names and Social Security information.
The recent Legacy Professionals data breach is a serious matter that could inflict far-reaching consequences for those affected. The exposure of protected medical information can pose an even greater danger of identity theft—such as obtaining medical services in the victim’s name, which will be charged to the victim.
