This firm represented a class of persons and entities that owned homes or other structures located in the United States on which CertainTeed Weatherboards Fiber Cement Siding was installed.  The Complaint alleged that the siding was defective in that it failed prematurely contrary to the representations and warranties under which it was marketed. The United States District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania approved a settlement that established a fund in the amount of $103.9 million from which class members can be compensated for defective siding.
