Jeffrey Grinde Jr. is an associate in Cafferty Clobes Meriwether & Sprengel’s Chicago office. Previously at Foley & Lardner and Tabet DiVito & Rothstein, he successfully argued a matter of first impression involving First Amendment protections afforded to record labels, prosecuted a civil rights lawsuit that favorably settled on the eve of trial, led a plaintiff-side commercial arbitration, and counseled executives on whistleblower, retaliation, compensation, and discrimination claims.

Before law, Jeffrey served as an EMT in rural Wisconsin and taught high school chemistry with the Peace Corps in Mozambique.

Education Profile

Jeffrey graduated magna cum laude and Order of the Coif from the University of Wisconsin Law School in 2023. He was an Articles Editor for the Wisconsin Law Review and taught undergraduate students at both the Wisconsin School of Business and the Integrated Liberal Studies Program.

He graduated magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Ripon College in 2017 as the elected class speaker, with honors degrees in chemistry-biology and philosophy.
